Make Money in College: Try Network Marketing

A lot of us have been through college and know firsthand the cash struggles of college students.  I remember being a busboy, waiter and caterer just to have extra money.  Of course that’s always on top of all your school work, volunteering, sports, etc…  Needless to say your options are probably as limited as mine were.  Nobody likes spending their free time earning minimum wage.  How else can you make money in college?

Well, what if there was a way you could use your free time while leveraging your ever-expanding network.  By network I mean all those people you’re connected to.  Look at your Facebook, MySpace or Twitter page.  How many friends and followers do you have?  Have you ever thought about utilizing those contacts for more than just casual conversations?

Network marketing may be the perfect solution for you.  Nowadays even colleges are teaching students about the merits of network marketing systems.  Think about it…it’s all based on word of mouth advertising; Grassroots campaigns.  How many items like cell phones, game systems, etc…have you referred your friends to without getting paid a dime?  Now how would you like to get paid for referring them to great products or services?  I would’ve loved to have had that opportunity.  Shoot, I’ll bet some of you are even now selling t-shirts or calling cards dorm room to dorm room.  It’s already engrained in your habits!

Here are some other reasons you may want to consider network marketing:

No Limits:  Right now you’re probably studying for your upcoming career knowing that once you’ve landed that coveted job your climb up the corporate ladder will begin.  Will your employer give you a salary or will they let you make as much money as you want?  I’m thinking it’ll probably be salary unless you’re jumping into a high commission sales job.  Well, with network marketing there are no limits.  It doesn’t matter if you’re 18, 22 or 82.  Your income will also not be capped because you lack experience.  It will all be based on the efforts you put forth.  It’s a true capitalist system just waiting for you.

Live Your Life:  Depending on the effort you put forth, network marketing could be a great way for you to make money in college.  It may also give you the ability to live life and you see it.  You may be an Art Major and would love to spend time in Italy studying Michelangelo’s works after graduation.  Technology, combined with network marketing, could give you that ability.  It’s flexible and there to work when you want to work it.

Your Generation:  I subscribe to a lot of business magazines and not an issue goes by that I don’t read a blurb or an article about some startup at a national college started by two dorm mates.  I know you’ve read those articles and I’ll bet you’ve met some of those guys and gals.  Why can’t you be one of them?  Make money in college while running your own business. You’re part of the “can-do” generation.

Low Overhead:  Like I said in the beginning, I know a lot of college students are strapped for cash.  A lot of networking marketing companies offer low initial investments in order to get you in the door and jumpstarting your success.  Research your options and find a product or service that fits your personality and drive.  You could own your own business for $300!

Go make some money in college!
